Lead Agencies in the Environmental Review Process

The range of alternatives identified by the BDCP will be evaluated through a formal EIR/EIS process. The agencies will also evaluate additional alternatives identified through the environmental review process under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Click on the logos below to visit websites of the agencies involved with the development of the BDCP and related environmental review documents.

In addition, the California Department of Fish and Game is participating as a responsible agency and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the California Natural Resources Agency are participating as cooperating agencies.

Delta Partners

The BDCP is working in partnership with other Delta focused programs including the Delta Stewardship Council and Delta Conservancy in their concurrent efforts to find solutions that meet the co-equal goals of habitat restoration and water supply reliability.
