The U.S. Department of the Interior (Interior), the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), the California Natural Resources Agency, and the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) are providing a series of preliminary draft Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP) and environmental review chapters for public review and consideration. These documents fall into two categories: Draft BDCP documents, and Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) documents. These documents are preliminary and subject to change. This information does not take the place of formal “public review” as pursuant to state and federal requirements. Only formal public comments submitted during the official comment period on the Draft BDCP and Draft EIR/EIS will be responded to, in writing, as part of the Final BDCP and Final EIR/EIS. Review the project schedule for more information on when these documents will be available for formal public comment.
